MLS photo rules and sizes
Use the MLS-size download. Here are the photo rules that most often lead to fines.
STEP 1
Download the Web quality photos. They are sized for the MLS (CCAR allows up to 99 photos per listing).
STEP 2
Primary photo: for homes and condos it must be the whole exterior of the home. For land, use the lot, the plat, or an aerial of the lot.
STEP 3
No for-sale signs, logos, contact info, or pricing can appear in any photo.
STEP 4
Virtually staged photos must each be labeled Virtually Staged, and your public remarks must say some photos are virtually staged.
STEP 5
Virtual tours and videos in the MLS must be unbranded.
Good to know
• These are CCAR (Coastal Carolinas) rules. Aiken and Augusta MLS rules are similar; check with your MLS if unsure.
• Our photographers leave signs out of frame or we remove them in editing on request.
